JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)

REPORTS TO: COO

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant to the COO works side-by-side with the COO to assist in the day-to-day operations of the companies overseen: General Construction, Landscape, Grading and Paving, Real Estate, and Property Management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal; able to motivate teams while working effectively with diverse groups
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly motivated self-starter who’s able to work independently with direction; methodical and detail oriented
  • Able to multitask while remaining flexible and open to last-minute changes/issues that may arise
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude when faced with challenges
  • Able to stay calm and work comfortably while under pressure
  • A valid driver’s license; willing to travel up to 20% of the time

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Five (5) years’ experience as an executive assistant to a COO, or like position, with a minimum of five (5) years cumulative experience in: construction, real estate, or landscape.
